Aamir Khan films are one of the most awaited events in the Bollywood film industry. The Mr. Perfectionist puts in every bit of his efforts and brilliance, to bring justice to the character and the film. His upcoming venture Laal Singh Chaddha, which is an adaptation of Tom Hanks starrer Forrest Gump, has finally got a release date. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on Christmas 2020. Helmed by Advait Chandan, the movie has been penned down by Atul Kulkarni.
Film Critic and analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to announce the release date of Aamir starrer. He wrote, “Mark the date… Aamir Khan’s new film #LaalSinghChaddha to release on #Christmas 2020…Stars Aamir in title role… Directed by Advait Chandan…Written by Atul Kulkarni…#Viacom18Movies”

Aamir had earlier revealed that he has to lose 20 kilos to portray the young version of Tom Hanks in the Hindi version, Laal Singh Chaddha. During an event held in Mumbai, the Dangal star said, “I play a young man in the movie, so I need to lose 20 kilos. I have already lost three-and-a-half kilos in two weeks under the guidance of Dr. Dhurandhar.
Forrest Gump is the Hollywood classic film which released in 1994. The Bollywood adaptation is co-produced by Aamir Khan and Viacom 18. Details of the supporting cast are yet to be announced.
